Hannah competed in her first junior Olympics. Im proud of her.  She's been involving herself in more school activities. I think that takes courage to do. Through this, I know she will become a well rounded human.
She got 3rd in the 100m race and her relay team got 1sr in the 4x100 race.
It was really fun watching her do her thing on the track and in the field. Definitely a proud mom moment today.

This week was my first week back at moms house after 2 and a half weeks away. A lot happened while I was away from her. It almost seems that it is more detrimental for her when I leave and it takes time for her to get back on schedule.
One thing for sure is that Sophie hates when I'm not home full time. I'm worried that she had cancer because I found 2 lumps so far on her body. She's not as active as before but tries to be. I'll be devastated when she crosses the rainbow Bridge.

This week is our last week together for at least the next month and a half.  It's also the last week of spring break.
We went to the lakes to kick off the last week with a paddle boat ride. We ended the week celebrating Easter at moms house with the cousins.
I wish I had more time at home than what I got but it is what it is.

We started this week off at Disneyland on Sunday. It was also the first week of spring break for the kids.  We spent 4 nights and 3 days at the Grand Californian courtesy of Ralph and his DVC points.
Dan saved the trip by getting us last minute tickets into California Adventures. This was huge for Tyler because he wanted to see the Advengers Camp. The last 2 days was spent at Disneyland.  I think the kids liked California Adventures better than Disneyland.
The kids' favorite ride this year was Big Thunder then Splash Mountain.  We rode all the big rides this year as a family so that was cool.
I think 3 days at Disney was a bit much for us. I think being with Jim and his family was also a bit much for us too.
The only really bad thing that happened was me getting sick the last day. Luckily it was the day we were checking out so I was able to enjoy the last day with the kids.
We probably won't be going back to Disneyland until 2024.

Today is the first day of a 2 week vacation.  Ralph came in around 9 this morning.  Hannah and I ran to trader joes to pick out a few things for our 5 day and 4 night Disneyland trip. We are almost all packed. We just need to pack our toiletries and cold items in a cooler.
Im terribly worried about leaving mom for a few days. She has been really dependent on me with using the restroom and helping her put her diaper on.  I'm very worried that I will get a call and she will be in the hospital. I'm trying to have faith but it's hard.  The kids are so excited for this trip away and I want them to enjoy. We haven't had much quality time since last April.
It's crazy to think that at the end of the month will be one year that I've been living with my mom.  I'm not sure how much longer I can sustain Iiving away from my own family. I guess time will tell...
