This was a really tough week at work.  I knew it would be, but I underestimated how hard. I worked until 330a on Tuesday then until 5am on Wednesday.  I needed to put those hours in because of a deadline.  I was already 1 day behind since I didn't get my data until 4p on Monday. Having to make up the hours took a toll on the quality of my work unfortunately.  On Friday I also learned that the data may be wrong too, which means I might need to reprocess the data. 

Tyler had a good week at school. He accomplished a lot as being a TA.  We got about an hour of driving in while Hannah practiced tennis.  

I watched Hannah play doubles at Grossmont HS.  She lost all 3 games but she did a lot better with her serves. She wasn't chosen for the First Serve Tournament which was disappointing. Hopefully she rallies this week and starts to show her coach that shes improving.

This was the first full week of school for the kids.  They're both adjusting to the new routine. 

Hannah had her 1st two matches this week. She played 3 matches and lost all three 0-6 but she was close to her opponent for each match.  Shes getting better each week. 

Tyler became TA for design and manufacturing and couldn't be happier. Im excited to see how he does in this leadership and mentorship role.

The kids started school on Wednesday.  Its Tyler's junior year and Hannah's freshman year. They're both on the 1 to 6 period schedule which is really nice.  Hannah's been juggling school and playing tennis this year.

This was a pretty busy week at work.  Hannah had practice all week and we found out she made the JV tennis team.  Im super proud of her and can't wait to see her play. 

Both kids found out their class schedules and theyre somewhat happy with them. 

We ended the week in Oceanside to rest and recover.

This week we made our way back home from Colorado. It was a 16 hour drive back.  

We got some back to school shopping in.  

Work on Thursday was a shit show. 

We attended Jaclyn bridal shower on Saturday then we did a lot of chilling on Sunday. I took Tyler driving for 30 min at the Westhills parking lot.  We also got him set up for 2 behind the wheel sessions.

We spent the week in Buena Vista, Colorado with family. The kids spent a lot of time with cousins.  Dan and I got some quality time in exploring Leadville.

This was a short week at work but hands down the toughest. I stayed up until 2am for a week straight working on data files for outreach. I finally finished it last night. 

On Wednesday I got my half sleeve on my right arm and im super happy with it.  

We left before 9pm on Thursday night and made it in to Buena Vista around 130pm on Friday.  

Since being here the kids connected with their cousin and experienced their first drive in, watching the live action Moana. 

Dan and I have gone a little excursions together and enjoying each other's company.  We have 1 more week here and we plan to soak it all in.
