This week the kids had Monday off. Hannah hung out with me and Tyler hung out with Dan.  They tried to go to Long Island Mike's pizza but they were closed for the day so they went to Litttle Sams.  They said the pizza was okay only. I'm excited that Tyler has been trying some new foods.   He figured out that he likes pepperoni pizza.
Oh and he told me that some girls at 6th grade camp said he looks good with a beanie.   I think he's been wearing one because of that.

We got lucky with Jim and family coming down so I can be home with my family for 2 nights.  It'll be a couple weeks before Jim can come back down again.
Today I got 2 tattoos.  I've been wanting to do this for quite sometime now.  I got a dragonfly tattoo on my right wrist as symbol of perseverance.  I've had many blips on this road we call life.  I persevere through because of my kids and husband.  I also got a lotus flower on my left forearm.   It symbolizes resilience and strength.  I have it on forearm as a constant reminder to me to keep putting on foot in front of the other.  Especially in times I feel the world is against me when I lose hope.
Mom will not be happy but I don't care.  These tattoos are my reminders to keep pressing thru cause there is still so much to live for.

We got lucky with Jim coming down this weekend.  I was able to hang with the family this Saturday. We got all our shopping errands done too which means we can relax tomorrow afternoon and watch the superbowl.
For our family event we decided a trip to Santee Lakes would be good for us. The boys walked around a lake and a half while us girls scootered around 2 lakes. The kids fed the ducks then ate at Tin Fish then we headed off to Barnes and Nobles so the kids could buy some books.
We ended the day with me taking a nap for a couple of hours.

This week was a rather busy week with many little errands. Monday mom had a lab appointment that took longer than expected.  I dropped off Tyler's disposable cameras from sixth grade camp. I found that not many places process film cameras anymore. Tuesday was relatively quiet except for work. Wednesday I called out sick so I can open the fiduciary account for mom. That took a few days to open. Thursday was pretty busy at work. I had to make another trip to Kaiser bonita to pick up bactrim for mom since she has another UTI. Friday was more running around for the fiduciary account but luckily I was able to complete it. This weekend was pretty busy too. I cleaned out more of moms backyard. I'm hoping to start making a dent in it before it gets too hot.
