First week back at school and work after spring break.  The kids eased into it and work for me was rather quiet since folks were focused on go live week.
I got this card in the mail from a coworker who was on the verge of resigning.  I talked her out of it and told her she needs to make things happen for herself otherwise she won't go anywhere on the team.  It was a nice little thank you cars with my catch phrase.

This was the 2nd week of Spring Break for the kids.  I took Tuesday-Friday off to spend time with them.
On Tuesday I took them and Hannah's friend Ella to the Carlsbad  Flower Fields and Strawberry picking. This has been on Hannah's bucket list for a while now. I'm glad we finally checked it off the list.
We did some shoe shopping on Wednesday and ate at the Black Bear Diner. This was Tyler's choice.
Thursday we watched A Minecraft movie. They watched and I slept on and off during the movie.  Hannah's choice. This was the same day Hannah and I got in another tiff.  This is the 2nd one this year.  The last one was in March.
Friday they spent the day with their dad.  They went to Kono's for breakfast.  Tyler's choice.  Then they went driving around town for a bit. I opted to stay home cause of the tiff with Hannah.
Saturday Hannah got her hair done.
We celebrated Easter as a family this year.  Tyler and I went to church at St John of the Cross. Then we all went to visit lola and Lolo at the cemetery then we had breakfast at Arleys. We came home and cooked dinner. Hannah made texas hash and I made the rice and steak.  I also gave them their Easter baskets.

This was a crazy busy week. It was the kids fiesta week of Spring Break. It was rather boring being stuck at home with me and Dan working.
I took Friday off to take the kids to Arizona. We were gone for less than 24 hours.  The main goal was to take Tyler to the Funko Pop Warehouse, which we did on Friday morning.  We were there right when they  opened. Then we went to Chandler to hang with Ralph the rest of the trip.  We had lunch with him at Angie's Lobsters then we dropped off my car at his house then carpooled to Chandler Fashion Mall.  The kids shopped for a few hours before we had an early dinner at Caldwell's.  The food was really good.  We then went to Daiso and Tesco before we ended the day with frozen custard.  We all turned in pretty early.  The last stop on the list was Waffle House before we hit the road home.  I think it was pretty successful.
Oh and we started the bath renovation on Friday too. Hopefully at the end of the month we have a cool new bathroom before we start the master bath.

So we are finally getting around to remodeling the bathrooms.  It's been since 2011 when we first moved in.  I've always wanted to redo the kitchen and bathrooms and we are finally getting around to some of the remodels.  We're hoping it stays under 50k so we have some funds for replacing the facia boards and painting the whole house.  Then we'll save funds and try to do the kitchen at some point.
