This week was pretty crazy.  Hannah got her Spring picture back and they look great. She also got on the Principal's honor roll for having a 4.0 GPA this past semester.  Dan and I playe hookie on Friday.  We completed our Saturday errands a day early and we had sushi for lunch at one of the new spots in town.
Tyler and I spent half a day on Saturday to help clear out the trees in mom and dad's back yard.  We almost finished. The yard looks way different now with no trees.
We ended Saturday with a trip to the mall for a little bit of shopping and dinner.

So this week was a bit emotional for me.   I'm starting the process to change the title of the managed account with Chase.  And I also sold mom and dad's car to Carmax for $4k.   Weird thing happened the morning I sold.  I went to clean it out of everything and the car battery was dead.  It's never been dead since before mom died.  I don't know if it was dad telling me not to sell it but it has a mechanical issue that will cost $6k.  I wanted to give it to Tyler cause he's been wanting it since he has this deep connection with dad but I can't fathom keeping it and having him drive it if there's something wrong and it's not safe for him to be in.
Hannah and I visited mom and dad today and it helped me feel a little lighter.  I miss them so much.

The highlight of this week was Pack Day with Tyler.  I went to school with him for the day, a minimum day.  It was nice to see him in his element and to.also see what a normal day looks like for him.
We started the day with Geography.  2nd class was manufacturing and design.  The 3d class was art. His 4th class was PE.  5th was English then we ended the day with Math.

This week was a normal one again. This Saturday I tried to close more things out for mom's estate.  I closed out the fiduciary account at Chase.  I need to get a form notarized to close out her and dad's joint checking and talk to a financial account manager to change the title for the managed account into mu name.
USAA called and sent over a packet to deal with the annuity account.  I need to figure out the home owners insurance still.
I got confirmation that USBANK account is closed too.
I'm getting everyone on board to sell the altima before we have to insure it and fix it more.  We can use the money for the house.
Jack graduated from Ranger school so he's one step closer to becoming special forces for the army.

This week was a normal week for us. School and work went on without a hitch.
Although this week, the Grossmont Union High School District voted to eliminate all librarians in the District.  They are cutting approximately 80 positions total.
Another highlight was Tyler attending Calvary Church which is a Christian mega church. I will admit that I'm not happy with this at all. He was christened roman catholic and I would love if he maintains his catholic faith.  But he plans to convert to being Christian.  I can hear my parents heartbreak over this but I did tell them they could determine their own faith as long as he has one.
