Hannah started junior high this week.  Luckily she has her friend Ella in her classes. She isn't too happy that they hit the ground running with school work the first week of school.  

This is also the week I'm back at moms house for the week.  It's been nice being home with the kids and in my house for 3 weeks.  It sure is sobering having to be away from home for seeing how it impacts the lives of my kids, husband and the dog.  It really does suck being in the position I'm in.   

At least I'll be home for 2 weeks before we get back in the rhythm of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off.

Tyler started his freshman year of high school on Tuesday.  He had a good first week.   It's a whole new experience for him.  New school with more kids, 497 of them and new schedule and classes to acclimate to.  Hannah starts school next week and is super nervous but will do wonderfully.

This week I took off from work so I could spend time with the kids.  

We started the week with Seaworld with 1 of their friends.  They had a good time.  The boys ran around on their own. I stuck with the girls. 

On Tuesday we got Tyler his Freshman package which includes his PE clothes, yearbook and ASB card.  We finished school shopping for Hannah.  Then on Wednesday Tyler went to howl day while I took Hannah to her yearly physical.  We met mom's new carepro Marilyn.  Then on Thursday we got Hannah's bloodwork done, ate at the Black Bear Diner them did a little shopping at Parkway Plaza, Target, 5 below and Barnes and Nobles.  Friday we did some house chores.  I finally got the sliding drawers installed in the pantry. But didn't finish cause I needed smaller slides to out on each shelf.  On Saturday we spent half the day at Lola's then we watched the sunset at Torrey Pines Beach.   On Sunday, I detailed the outside of Dan's truck, I caught up on some work cause it's a very busy week at work then we ate dinner at Texas Roadhouse. It was a nice week spent with the kids. Very expensive week but a good week with them.

This last week was crazy busy.  Spent the first couple of days with the kids in Hollywood exploring then shopping at Irvine Spectrum to round it out. 

I have this week off to spend with the kids. Tomorrow we go to Seaworld with 2 of their friends.  Then Tue we have business day at Tyler's school then Wednesday he has freshman orientation.  I think I'll take Hannah to finish up school shopping after her doctors appointment and from visiting lola. Then Thursday maybe I'll take them to the beach or exploring San Diego.
