This week was pretty busy.  Kids did fine their 2nd week of summer.  We're getting into a routine.  They both started some learning to keep up on their knowledge base.

Work has been super busy, as per usual.

Mom has declined.  We found out she has a UTI which could be the reason why she's not ambulatory.  We also found out she's allergic to amoxicillin.  So she has to talk macrobid which makes her really dizzy. If she can't tolerate the macrobid she will need to be admitted to have IV antibiotics.  I'm hoping she doesn't need to be hospitalized.  But will welcome it because they can do a full work up on her while she's there.

Today I yelled at Ralph for taking to me like a retard. I've had enough of him talking down to me like I'm a retard and Today was the day I got fed up and went off on him. Silence from him is bliss.

This week was a very stressful week.  It was my first day back after being off last week to spend with the kids after they graduated.
The kids are settling into summer ok. They're doing a lot of cleaning and organizing which I love.
Mom had a really rough week.  She's not able to walk much or put weight on her legs.  I do believe she is declining faster.  I also believe that my brothers and I are breaking her too.  We're not realizing that the way we talk to her and treat her is taking a toll on her.  She's feeling like a burden.  And she is but it doesn't mean we have to treat her that way.  It's hard to be positive in a situation like this because she really doesn't want to live anymore.   Us taking care of her is prolonging the inevitable.   We are starting to look at memory care facilities that can care for her better than we can at home.  And it many ways it hurts my heart that I can't do more.  My body and mind can't handle it.

This was a pretty busy week for us.  The kids graduated from 8th and 6th grades.  They both earned the Gold Merit for having a 4.0 all year long.   We couldn't be more proud of them and the hard work they put in this year. I know they're destined to do great things.
We also ventured and went to the Del Mar Fair opening week and it was a huge hit.  We didn't take family pictures, boo!
We also had korean bbq with one of Hannah's friends family.
I'm not looking forward to being back at moms for 2 weeks and the work on deck.
At least the kids will be with me at moms a bit during the summer.

Our girl turned 12 this week.  She celebrated at home on her actual birthday. We had sushi and cake.  She celebrated at chuck e cheese on Saturday with 7 of her friends.  She had an awesome time.  She's grown so much this last year.  Im so happy knowing she has one of the kindest hearts this world.  I hope she stays kind and positive till the day she dies.
