It was an uneventful week, thank goodness.

Tyler started his state testing this week and Hannah starts in another week.  Tyler also took his graduation pictures.

Mom had a pretty busy week. We met with Tim Norris from an agency called Home Instead.  It's time to look for help. It's unfortunate that the cost is $43.50 an hour. This agency has a 3 day 4 hour minimum.  Now we wait for them to match some care takers.
We also met with Lorie Young who is a speech therapist. She advised mom will need to transition to eating soft foods and that there will be a time where she will refuse foods and that we will need to make a decision on putting her on a feeding tube.
Mom has been declining at a faster rate than what  I've seen in the last few years.

This week was another busy one. We ended up at the ER from a doctor's visit on Wednesday.  Mom was complaining that her throat hurt and felt like something was blocking it.  She also complained that her abdomen hurt too.  They tested her for strep and covid and both were negative. She wasn't eating or drinking much for about a week and half.  Her blood pressure decreased to under 100/50.   They did a full blood analysis and a CT with dye contrast.  All came back negative.  They also did a clean catch of urine and that too was negative.  They couldn't explain why she has the symptoms she has.
Hannah had her junior Olympics on Saturday. She placed 3rd in the shot put and didn't place in the relay nor the 50m.  We will train more for the next Olympics.  We're proud of her no matter what.  She did great.

So this week was a bit crazy. It was first week back for me and the kids from having 2 weeks off for Spring Break.
Kids did good and got back into the swing of things.  Hannah worked hard on her Greek Wax museum project. She also got word that she's one of the Narrators for the play theyre doing.  Tyler did his thing and even beat his buddy in running the mile.  He was stoked about it.
Work for me has been beyond crazy.  I'm way behind in emails and work.  I did have an interview for the data science team.  Im not very confident about it because I'm not qualified for the role but I can learn it.
Danny almost killed himself at the gym this week.  He lost grip of the barbell as he was doing weight and it fell on his chest. I bought him and Tyler weight lifting gloves.

This week was a doozey.  It was my last week home and of spring break.  It started off ok Monday and it went downhill.

Mom fell off the couch on Tuesday requiring me to go to mom's to help Ralph pick her up off the floor.  Then on Wednesday she was bleeding from her pubic area so we went to the ER.  I was supposed to take the kids to seaworld that day so that was postponed to Thursday. Then Friday we went back over to help Ralph with stuff around the house.  I spent way more time at moms than I wanted to this week.  I didn't get much done around the house like I wanted.

We are back to our normal schedule this week.  Not looking forward to work.  I do have an interview on Thursday.  Hoping it goes well.
