What can I say about this week?

I was able to stay the night on Thursday and Friday at my house in my own bed because Jim's family came down to go to the zoo and Scripps Aquarium.  I'll say that it feels off being home overnight.
I don't feel at home in either house I'm in and I'm not sure how to fix this.
The kids loved having me home. I was able to go do drop off on Friday morning and was able to make waffles for them on Saturday morning before heading back to the chaos.
This week will be a very busy one for me at work.  I'm gearing up for a big presentation next Thursday.
Hannah has her choir concert this Wednesday, her last one at Sycamore canyon.

So this was a hard week for me.   I got the worse year end review of my Kaiser career.  It was successful but the manner in which it was given was terrible.  My boss wanted to give me an excellent but his peers started they have no idea what i do because I'm not vocal nor visible.  For one of his peers it makes sense but the other of his peers it's ridiculous because I meet with her once a week and work with one her employees every day multiple times a day.   So it's complete bullshit.  It's time for me to move on from this department or even kaiser altogether.
To top it l, it would have been my dad's 90th birthday.  I miss him terribly.  It still hurts he's gone.  I still have yet to grieve him but Lord knows I love him so much.

It was a pretty busy week at work.  Things are starting to ramp up and quickly.
Home life was busy too but not as busy as last week.  Saturday we attended Jessica's baby shower at L1920 in Alpine.  It was nicely put together but a lil boring.  I do hate attending these type of things.
Mom has been okay this week. I need to get her in for labs though but it's been really cold. I'll try to get her in on Wednesday before I take her to the cemetery I think.

This week was a very busy week.  It was filled with meetings for Tyler.  We learned there will be 54 kids and quite a bit of chaperones for his East Coast trip.  He has a handful of people he knows that are going so that makes me feel better.
We also met with his high school counselor.  He had an opportunity to change his wish list of electives.
This week mom had a shift in character.  Saturday she woke up earlier than normal and was asking where dad was and why he didn't tell her he was leaving.  He also kept referring to him as my uncle.  She hasn't done that before with me.  She wasn't too sure who I was either.
She also got out of bed and walked to the hall bathroom. She hasn't wandered like that in almost a year.  I think she might be turning a corner because her dementia is worsening or she may have an infection.  I'll have to get her urine tested soon.
This week we are bracing for a storm that will stick around all week.
