This was my last week home.  I was able to be home for 4 weeks since we came down with COVID during our vacation in Colorado. 

The kids, the hubby, and the dog are not happy.  I'm not happy either.  I'll be at mom's for 3 weeks before Ralph is back.  

Today Hannah competed in the junior Olympics at Santana.  She did good considering they trained for a week.  This year she competed in the relay, long jump and 50 meter events.  Her team got 2nd place in the relay.  She got 6 feet in the long jump and she was 4th in the 50 meter.  I think next year we will help train her so she's more prepared. 

We are super proud of her.

This past week was a bit of a whirlwind with the kids going back to school and Dan and I back working.  The best part of the week is we all tested negative as of Friday. 

This coming week Hannah has a lot going on.  On Tuesday she's going to the Indian Hills Camp from 8am to 8pm, lunch on the lawn on Friday then Junior Olympics from 7 to 3pm on Saturday.  

We will be back at moms Saturday night for the first time in a month.  I'm looking forward to it but also dreading it cause it'll be back to the hard and stressful grind again.  

Sophie will hate life again with me being gone during the weeks again.

The last week of our Spring Break ended horribly.  What I thought was a 24 hour bug on Easter Sunday turned into a positive covid test.  Huge damper for all of us.  The kids couldn't spend time with their cousins nor go out and explore the town.  Felt horrible. We still don't know where we picked it up from outside of Buena Vista or potentially Salida since we were there a couple times.  

The kids and I have tested negative so they're going back to school today. Dan has yet to test but hopefully he is negative now too.

We're halfway thru our vacation. The kids are having a blast spending time with grandma and grandpa and their cousins.  

We settled into the house and did some grocery shopping and laundry.  We also did some geocaching and played a bit in the snow this week.  

They spent the whole day with them today and enjoyed every bit of it. Dan and I drove to Colorado Springs to check out the various suburbs.  We liked Gleneagle and a town near the Garden of the God's, Mountain Shadows area.   

Tomorrow is our first Easter away from my family so we will make the best of it.

We are officially on our Mighty Young vacation of 2

2023.  We left Santee at 404am and arrived at 6pm MTN time. 13 hours.  The kids did great. We are at the Marriott Pyramid in Albuquerque.  We had whataburger for the first time. Tomorrow we will have breakfast at the Frontier then have dinner at Sadie's.  We plan to check our University of New Mexico tomorrow and Old Town. Dan is loving his time here.
